Three Ways to Convert Yoga Pants to Street Wear for TravelWhat girl doesn’t want yoga pants to be acceptable fashion for everyday wear?  They are comfy and versatile – they can even be fashionable.  Although you may not want to wear your yoga pants to your next hail and farewell, they are perfect for travel.  With minimal effort yoga pants can be comfortable sitting in the car or on an airplane for hours yet still cute enough to look put together. Here’s how:

1. Colors and Prints

Probably the easiest way to forget you’re wearing yoga pants it to trade in your standard bootcut black ones for different cuts with color or patterns.  Try some tight fitting capris in a bright color like red, or, my personal favorite, grab some wide legged patterned pants from The Paisley Rooster.

2. Layers

So many of us fall into the trap that yoga pants can only be worn with workout tops. Not so! Instead, throw on a loose fitting tee and long cardigan with different colors and patterns. Nix the tennis shoes and swap them for fun sandals or flats.

2.	Layers –

3. Accessories

A super simple way to dress up yoga pants is to add accessories – hats, scarves, jewelry, belts, you name it! Bangles and chunky earrings are a sure way to avoid looking like you are headed to the gym.  Adding a fedora is super trendy (plus it means you don’t have to worry about fixing your hair in those early mornings).  Put a waist-cinching belt over a tunic top for additional flair.

3.	Accessories –

Mix and match these endless options and you won’t ever feel lazy when traveling in yoga pants again.
