Honor yourself and it will honor you to take care of those around you with purpose and with ease.”

ABOUT SHERRY

Sherry Kellogg is an Air Force spouse. She discovered yoga in college, but it wasn’t until she married her active duty husband that she discovered the powerful healing benefits of yogic practices. Having quickly recognized the crucial role that yoga played in helping her find balance and manage the stressors of military life, she completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training, as well as Sustainable Asana Yoga Foundation, children’s yoga, and WAE Level 1 trainings. Like many military spouses, her professional path is quite diverse. While working on her master’s degree in Bio-Science Regulation, she worked as a high school science teacher before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry. Over the last decade, she has managed a breadth of global clinical trials, both pharmaceutical-sponsored and investigator-initiated. She has had the honor of managing clinical trials for oncological, orthopedic, ophthalmic, and endocrine therapeutic indications for nearly every major pharmaceutical company in the world. Recognizing the crucial role that yoga played in helping her manage military life, and leveraging her professional scientific experience, Sherry founded a private yoga practice, Reveille & Shine Yoga, with a mission to utilize evidence-based yogic practices to help military and veteran families recognize and harness the powerful benefits of yoga.

InDependent makes wellness accessible and creates opportunities for all military spouses to connect for friendship, accountability, and inspiration.

We envision a time when all military spouses thrive through connection to community and resources that results in healthy decision-making for themselves and their families.
