We have the right to take up all of the space that we need.
— Elizabeth Bosse

In this video, vinyasa yoga teacher Elizabeth Bosse shares a yoga practice focusing on creating space. This is a gentle practice encompassing deep breathing, flowing yoga poses, and plenty of stretching, with the goal of learning to own your own space.

ABOUT ELIZABETH

Elizabeth Bosse is an Army spouse of nearly fifteen years. She took her first yoga class when she moved to Vicenza, Italy in 2008. She fell in love with the practice upon her toes touching the mat that first time. Fast forward five years and she became interested in teacher training but was knee-deep in a training phase for her husband. Then her family moved every year for four years and her dream got pushed to the side. During this time, she volunteered as front desk staff at her local yoga studio and was able to practice for free during that time. After having her daughter and finally being stationed somewhere for three years, she found an amazing yoga studio owned by a veteran spouse and a military spouse where she was finally able to do her training. She then completed her 200-hour teacher training and became a certified vinyasa teacher through Yoga Alliance. She has now been teaching for two years and is also certified in the Roll Model Method through Yoga Tune Up.

InDependent makes wellness accessible and creates opportunities for all military spouses to connect for friendship, accountability, and inspiration.

We envision a time when all military spouses thrive through connection to community and resources that results in healthy decision-making for themselves and their families.
