Introducing Military Spouse Communities, Join the Fun!Drum roll please…InDependent Communities have arrived!

If you’re a military spouse looking for an evening out with like-minded people, wanting to replace a running partner you left behind, or just looking for somebody who eats like you, then an InDependent (ID) community is a good place to start.

Check out our five local communities:

InDependent | D.C. hosted by Liz

InDependent | Fort Hood hosted by Emira

InDependent | Fort Riley hosted by Julia

InDependnet | Lewis-McChord hosted by Pam

InDependent | Tampa Bay hosted by Izzy

InDependent’s big, hairy, audacious goal is to have a thriving ID community on every military installation worldwide.  As you can tell, we’re not there yet, but we will succeed…you just wait!  You can help us. Contact me today to learn how you can start an ID Community at your duty station.

Until then, join us over in our private nutrition and fitness groups. Here you can participate in challenges like ditching processed sugar, or exercising for a certain amount of time each day, all with the support of people who are in the same boat, and without the watching eyes of everyone else.

We’ve recruited military spouse experts in both fitness and nutrition that are available to answer your questions, which you can ask without embarrassment because it’s not out there for the whole world to see. And, it’s all done in a positive, supportive environment.

What makes these groups truly unique is that we have representation, from yoga to CrossFit and vegan to Paleo, and everything in between so you get a well-rounded perspective without the push of one agenda. Really, we have something for everyone.  So what are you waiting for? Come on in and join us. We’re having a ton of fun!

Where should we start our next community?

InDependent makes wellness accessible and creates opportunities for all military spouses to connect for friendship, accountability, and inspiration.

We envision a time when all military spouses thrive through connection to community and resources that results in healthy decision-making for themselves and their families.
