A military spouse since 2009, Michele and her husband have been assigned to multiple states and one European tour. Over time, she has developed a love for the great outdoors and is a self-proclaimed adventure enthusiast who is happiest when hiking a mountain trail, downhill skiing, running outdoors, or engaged in freshwater sports. As a communication and marketing professional, she specializes in strategic planning. Michele was also awarded the Armed Forces Insurance Ft. Riley Spouse of the Year for both 2015 and 2016. When not in the midst of a creative campaign, you can find her walking her Labradoodle pup, traveling with her husband, cooking a healthy meal, or hitting the gym.

Why do I strive for a healthy lifestyle? 

After numerous failed attempts to heal a chronic skin disorder through conventional medicine, often with unwanted side-effects, I’ve committed to find a natural cure through health, fitness, and nutrition.

Fitness Routine:

I’m a believer in incorporating all types of fitness into my routine. I try to run two to three miles at least three times a week, but I always supplement that with weight training, functional fitness, kickboxing, and/or yoga.

Food Philosophy:

Eat clean. Cook real food.

Favorite Pastime:

Walking or hiking outside with my husband and Labradoodle pup.

Favorite Healthy Snack:

Homemade granola bars

Odd Healthy Habit:

I drink one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar each day mixed in a 6 oz glass of sparkling water.
